This is the 200th edition of The Buzz Files!
We’re very proud of that.
We know there are some of you who have been there since the very start, and thank you so much for your unwavering support.
And for those of you who joined us at some point along the way, we are so grateful that you found us, and thank you for your loyal support too.
The Buzz Files was the first thing we ever did, once we decided to create The Buzz.
The idea was to find a more personal and direct communication with our listeners.
To speak directly to each and every one, but also to build a sense of community at the same time.
A newsletter felt like the best way to do that.
The first issue went out on April 4th 2020, just a week or so after the first lockdown was announced.
Back then, none of us knew what was going to happen, or how the world would change forever.
Looking back at some of those 200 editions of The Buzz Files, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
It’s so much more than a newsletter.
It documents two crazy friends’ ambitious attempts to build a radio station set against the backdrop of one of the most life changing events that’s ever happened to humanity.
Some editions were full of hope, inspiration, and optimism.
And at other times, the newsletter reflected the darker mood of what was going on in the world.
But, we always tried to be a light.
We valued your precious time opening the emails, and we wanted to ensure that in the chaos of your week and whatever was going on in the world, that you felt better for having spent a few minutes with us, reading The Buzz Files.
Whether we have achieved that or not, only you can tell us.
But regardless, The Buzz Files celebrates it’s 200th edition and also the coming together of a huge bunch of amazing people, uniting over their shared love of music.
We’re so grateful that we found one another.
Thank you.
We promise you that the future is very exciting for The Buzz and what amazing and innovative value we have planned to give back to you.
So, please stay tuned.
